Established in 1995, by Dr. Jim Duncan, the Service Above Self Youth Awards recognizes young people for their service to others in our community. Rowan County United Way and Rowan Rotary Club, along with an anonymous donor, work together to make these awards possible. On the following pages you can learn more about the program and how you can nominate a young person for their volunteer efforts.

This year's winners and finalists will be announced during an awards ceremony at 6:30pm on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Keppel Auditorium located on the campus of Catawba College.
